I received this picture of a 2 year old blond in the mail today from my mom. Love the shoes. Times may change, but summer will always have the monkey bars.
Our story unfolds one day at a time. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into our memories in the making.

Disney and beyond!
Audrey is going to another camp this week, and it is called "Disney and Beyond." Today was Peter Pan and Tinkerbell day. It sounds like it was a blast, and the rest of the week looks to be a party of Disney proportions as well. The teachers sent us a picture today of the campers. I think it was taken with Tinkerbell's camera, as it is super tiny and horrible quality, but you get the idea. Audrey is on the far right in the Ariel shirt.

Summer camp!
Audrey is looking mighty sporty on her first day of "Sports Sampler" summer camp! So far they have learned hockey and soccer. Tomorrow is a timeless classic; kickball!

More
The blog is angry with me, so I will start a new post and finish the pictures from the week.
Papa and Ben.
Enjoying every drop of the fountain.
Ben enjoys the fountain too!
Endless fun in a bucket.
Audrey is glad to help Ben fill his bucket, and empty it, and fill it again. Repeat.
Enjoying it much??? And yes, the 5T suit is too small.
And finally....sibling teamwork. Audrey hugged and kissed her brother so much when she came home, it was truly a moment. Ahh, sibling love. Enjoy the harmony while we can.
The week in pictures.
If you were hoping for a picture heavy blog post, then congrats! Here are many pictures from the past week. Some are from PC and some are from Ana's trip up to NC. They all have one thing in common; they were all taken in extreme HEAT!
Beaches to go to, sand to dig in.
Playing at the beach.
Cooling off from the 95 degree heat.
Play hard, work hard.
Lucky fish. Feeding at 6:30 in the morning to beat the heat.
Swing with a view.
Deep conversation over bread crumbs.
All is right with the world when Rice Krispy Treats are involved.
Graham cracker and Marshmallow.
Splashing, exploring, enjoying.
Lifeguard on duty!
Look out ladies, there is a new lifeguard on duty at the pool this year! Be careful though, he can't swim. He sure looks good in a swimsuit though!
New babies
The babies have hatched and are almost ready to leave the nest- in our expert opinions. Jeff was able to snap a few shots before mama bird and her posse tried to peck his brains out. It's really neat to see all the birds sitting in the tree with worms and bugs hanging out of their beaks waiting to feed their babies. There were 5 eggs and we can clearly see 3 baby birds...not in this picture though.

Camp PC
"Whatever happens at Grandma's stays at Grandma's...." The main issue with Camp Grandma is that Mommy Real Life doesn't make pancakes every morning!!!! Nor do we live on the water, have a cushy recliner, or 2 curious cousins to make mischief with. Here are some of Audrey's recent adventures at Camp PC.
Working hard on either a sandcastle or a pile of mud.
Beachy beauty
Feeding the fish bright and early!!
The fish was "how big" Ana?
It's the one that got away.
Who needs a pool...
...when you have a dog bowl. Nothing says fun like a forbidden splash in the dog bowl. I will also admit that Ben did take a sip out of the bowl and dip his face in it as well. After all, it is way to humid to play outside.

Florida things
Audrey is having all sorts of new adventures in FL. It's been so hot and rainy that they have not been able to get outside much. Thank goodness Grandma and Papa live on the water so they can pop outside as soon as the rain stops and feed the fish or go on a canoe ride.
She also got some trumpet lessons from Uncle Eric.

What to do....
...when you go from two kids to one? You've put #2 to bed, taken a nap, cleaned the house, folded the laundry and eaten dinner....so you sit on the porch and watch your pets goof around. My what a difference one kid makes!
Watching the dogs. Contemplating a nap.
Great weather for wrestling.
World's largest water bowl.
Always on the lookout.
She may look like a house cat, but she's got the instincts of a jungle cat!
Chomp.

Busy day
Isabel was only here for one full day, so we had to pack a lot in! The girls had a great time and Ben enjoyed having another girl to dote over him. Here are some highlights from yesterday.
Isabel giving the trampoline a good beating.
Ben enjoying the extra entertainment.
The girls scooting around bright and early.
Strategizing on which part of the fountain would be the most fun. Most fun for Audrey = the most wet; Most fun for Isabel = least wet.
Squealllllllll, giggle, squeallll.
Struttin', socializing, and soakin' up the sun.
(Yes, he does have sunscreen on.)

Over the river and through the woods...
...to Grandma's house she goes! Grandma, Papa, and cousin Isabel are coming to town today to stay a day and then take Audrey back with them to FL for a WEEK. What in the world will we do without her?

Blog alert
There is a new format on the blog....make sure you click "READ MORE" after 2 or 3 pictures and you will see the rest of the post. For some reason it only lets you see a few before you have to "click."
Playing catchup
I know, I've been a bit of a back-logged blogger lately. It's been busy, but I will attempt to redeem myself now. Here are some recent pictures of various and assorted events.
We went to a Fairy Forest birthday party recently and Ben got to be a tag along. The fun for him was being able to pick up sticks and stones and throw them. I am learning that boys like to THROW things. All things. All the time.
Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails...and sticks. That's what little boys are made of.
